I thought I’d start the blog off with one of the places that got Julie Dee and I into fashion: Harajuku!!! Whilst trolling my phone for new applications I came across Tokyofashion.com. It’s a really great app/site about fashion in Tokyo and so far I’m in love! While reading the different article titles I came across the word Harajuku (a section of Tokyo known for its street fashion and culture) and I immediately clicked. Turns out that every year there is a Harajuku Fashion Walk held to try to re-instate the feelings of the Harajuku Hokoten (streets that used to be only for pedestrians and their shopping pleasure that cars now inhabit.) This year over 100 girls and guys showed up in various とても かわいい (very cute) fashions including Gothic Lolita, Fairy-kei, Visual-kei, Gothic Aristocrat, fruits, Decora, and so much more! Below I’ve posted some スーパー すごい (super awesome) pictures of these styles as well as some photos from the actual walk! Enjoy!
With twisted love,
